Mixed Grass
We have fields of native meadow grass with brome and bluegrass, and fields of brome/orchardgrass/timothy. Our grass hay is extremely fine-stemmed and palatable, with high carbohydrate levels and moderate protein. All classes of animals do well with our mixed grass hay, including senior animals.

Timothy
Traditionally, timothy hay has been considered an excellent feed for horses. Timothy is high in fiber with moderate protein, and the hay is very leafy. Our 100% timothy grass hay is generally lower-sugar than our mixed grass blends, making it an option for horses with metabolic issues.

We send hay samples to third-party accredited laboratories for complete forage analysis. Check back soon for 2024 test results.

A few details:

• We produce 36" long, 18" wide, 14" tall bales that average 50 pounds each. Your back will thank you when feeding this hay!
• Our Bale Baron stacks 21 bales together and ties it with baling twine.  Each bundle measures approx 8' x 4' x 3.5' and weighs 0.5 tons each.  They can be moved mechanically (any forklift, spear, etc will work), or the baling twine can be cut to access individual bales.
