Mixed Grass
We have fields of native meadow grass with brome and bluegrass, and fields of brome/orchardgrass/timothy. Our grass hay is extremely fine-stemmed and palatable, with high carbohydrate levels and moderate protein. All classes of animals do well with our mixed grass hay, including senior animals. |
Timothy
Traditionally, timothy hay has been considered an excellent feed for horses. Timothy is high in fiber with moderate protein, and the hay is very leafy. Our 100% timothy grass hay is generally lower-sugar than our mixed grass blends, making it an option for horses with metabolic issues. |
We send hay samples to third-party accredited laboratories for complete forage analysis. Check back soon for 2024 test results.

A few details:
- We produce 36" long, 18" wide, 14" tall bales that average 50 pounds each. Your back will thank you when feeding this hay!
- Our Bale Baron stacks 21 bales together and ties it with baling twine. Each bundle measures approx 8' x 4' x 3.5' and weighs 0.5 tons each. They can be moved mechanically (any forklift, spear, etc will work), or the baling twine can be cut to access individual bales.
